Lunch Menu: Friday – Chicken Patty/Bun, French Fries, Fresh Orange & Milk.
Monday – Chicken Strips, Chicken Herb Rice, Salad Bar, Mixed Fruit & Milk.
 
CSW – Quiz Bowl Competition against Bay City all Saints and Saginaw Nouvel. A live feed will be played at school so all can watch the competitions. Feed would begin at 1:30 (come down with your 6th hour classes & students will return to 6th hour. No 7th hour today.) An announcement will be made to release students.

Close Up Students will meet with Mrs. Starry Friday @ 11:30 am in Mr. Durocher’s room.
 
Mandatory Tech Club meeting on Friday after school for about 15 minutes.
 
Tickets are available in the office to purchase for the dance after the boys home game against Montabella on Feb 3rd. Tickets are $2.50 and they need to be purchased before the dance. There will be pizza and drinks provided. It will run from approximately 8:30 to 10:45.
 
Saturday School will be held this Saturday, February 4th from 8 am – 11am with Sr. Foster.  For those students who have been assigned a Saturday School, bring your $5 and work to do. 
 
Brief softball meeting for anyone playing softball after school on Thursday. Meet in the library at 2:50.
 
Congratulations to two delegations from our Model UN Team for making 1st and 2nd team this year. Shubha Vedula, Kathleen Guytingco, Maggie Oblinger, and Julia Cardon made 1st team. Katharine Janes, Jimmy English, Emma Sheffert, and Siri Sarvepalli made 2nd team.
 
Morey Talent Show participants, please let Mrs. Sias know the number of tickets you would like for the show.
 
There will be no Jr. High Spanish club due to lack of registrations. See Mrs. Sias for a refund.
 
Seniors: The senior hallway picture will be taken on February 10, the last ten minutes of lunch. Everyone needs to be there.
 
Builders’s Club will be selling popcorn and water for the assembly on Friday. Tickets for popcorn may be purchased Thursday at lunch and Friday morning before school. All proceeds benefit the Miles for Miracles program.
 
Builder’s Club will be selling “World’s Finest Chocolate” February 1 – 21 in Mrs. Smith’s room (100) before and after school.
 
Spirit Wear all week except for Mass day on Wednesday.
 
There will be no drop-in volleyball on Sunday due to the super bowl.
 
Anyone interested in Forensics please bring your lunch to Mrs. Bennett’s room on Monday, February 6th.

Anyone interested in being on the Prom Committee, please meet in Mrs. Reid’s room Tuesday during lunch B. Prom is April 28 at CMU.
 
The Mt. Pleasant Area Technical Center is hosting an open house on Wednesday, February 8th from 6-8 pm.  This would be a great function to attend if you are thinking about signing up for a tech class next year.  You must be in 11th or 12th grade to attend the tech center.
 
In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, Aquinas College will reimburse all travel costs for students and their families to visit their campus during the week of January 30 (Monday, Jan. 30-Saturday, Feb. 4). They schedule visits from 9am to 2:30pm Monday-Friday, and at 9am and 11am on Saturday. Students can call the Aquinas office at (800) 678-9593 or (616) 632-2900, or they can e-mail us at admissions@aquinas.edu.
Any 10th or 11th grade students residing in Isabella County are eligible to apply for a spot in the International Relations Student Exchange.  Students will stay with a host family in Okaya, Japan for the first two weeks of August.  If you’re interested, see Mrs. Thaler for details.  Deadline to apply is March 1st.  Financial assistance is available.
