Registration for 2013-14
If you were not able to attend one of the registration meetings held this week, we ask that you please go to the Business Office (next to Sacred Heart Church) and register your child and pay the $75 enrollment fee. It really helps us for planning purposes if you could do that as soon as possible. It will cut down on the administrative costs associated with sending reminder postcards. We really hope all students will be returning in the fall. If you happen to not be coming back, please let us know that as well. If it’s for financial reasons, we encourage you to contact Business Manager, Maureen Starry or Fr. Loren to explore financial aid options. The deadline to apply for financial aid is May 31st.
Senior Graduation
On Sunday, May 19th, the baccalaureate Mass will be held for all Sacred Heart Parish graduating seniors. Baccalaureatefor the SHA Class of 2013 will be held in the church later that afternoon at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
6th Grade Promotion
6th grade promotion will be held on May 22nd following the 8 a.m. Mass. Parents and students will gather in the parish hall for promotion, followed by light refreshments.
Service Recognition
The following SHA employees will be recognized for their years of service and dedication to Sacred Heart Academy after the 8 a.m. Mass next Wednesday, May 22nd. 5 years – Beth Bennett, Mary Schafer, Laurie Simon and Eric Vinciguerra; 10 Years – Erin Binger; 15 Years – Nancy Hemmingson; 20 years – Michele Reinke, Mary Beth Roberts and Rick Roberts; 30 years – Phil Durocher. We hope you are able to join us and congratulate these individuals for their commitment to the students and families of Sacred Heart Academy.
Pentecost Family Faith Night
To celebrate Pentecost, the birthday of the Church, a family faith night will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, from 6:30-7:45P.M. Extra registration forms are available in the office.
Irish Basketball Camp
Irish Basketball camp will be held June 10 -14, for children going into grades 1-8. Registration forms were sent home last week. Extra registration forms are available in the office.
Latchkey End of Year Schedule
Latchkey will be closed on Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day. The last day of Latchkey will be Friday, June 14. If you plan on using latchkey on any of the days that school is not in session, please sign up in advance.
