Sacred Heart Academy, a Catholic school founded in 1889, is committed to the mission of Jesus Christ. With our families and faith community, we provide a balanced curriculum to strengthen mind, body and spirit so our students can achieve their full potential.  

Book of Intentions

As part of our year of prayer, there is a Book of Intentions in the entrance areas of both school buildings. If a student or family has an intention they would like the students and staff to pray for, please either write it in our book or email it here. Prayers may be as specific or as general as you would like them to be.

2012-13 Enrollment

We hope to see all of our SHA students back for the 2012-13 school year.

Parents, if you haven't already done so will you please stop by the administration office next to the church to pay the $75 enrollment fee and sign the parent/school contract. Deadline for financial aid application is May 31, 2012.

8th Grade Promotion & Honors
May 30th 6:30 pm

Please note the change in date and time from the original master calendar that was sent out last fall. 8th grade promotion and honors will be Wed. May 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the church. It will be followed by a reception/dance  in the parish center  until 9 p.m.  Reminder: Please abide by the mass day dress code. Boys - dress pants, dress shirt and necktie. Girls - dresses/skirts or dress pants. Dresses/skirts must be appropriate in length (no higher than two inches above the knee) and not show cleavage or mid-section.

Excellence In/Academic Honors Ceremony
Wed. May 30th

Students in grades 7, 9 and 10 earning an A or A- for each of the 5 six week marking periods will be recognized at an honors ceremony at noon on Wed. May 30th in the gym. Please note this is a change for the 7th graders as it was originally scheduled for 5/31.

Katharine Janes Named as 2012
Joyce Ivy Summer Scholar

SHA sophomore, Katharine Janes received a $3,000 scholarship from the Joyce Ivy Foundation to use this summer toward a two week program at Brown University in Rhode Island where she will be studying leadership in international relations. Read complete press release here.
