About Mrs. Marge Schafer

I'm excited to be returning to SACRED HEART! I have over 30 years of teaching experience, including six years as a speech pathologist, several years as a special eduation teacher, and three previous years at SHA. Most recently, I have worked in the Alma School District. You may have seen me in church, since I have been very involved in the music for our litrugies for many years. 

My husband and I have four children, all of whom were "lifers" at SHA.  Our hobby farm is just a few miles outside of Mt. Pleasant where we have cattle year round, a vegetable garden and some pigs in the summertime, as well as three dachshunds that rule our household!

My hobbies include singing, reading, quilting and other crafts.  I am looking forward to having a much shorter drive to work than I am used to and to working with Sacred Heart's enthusiastic 4th graders!  Go Irish!
