About SHAgala

SHAgala is the major fundraiser for Sacred Heart Academy. Each year, the event raises thousands of dollars that goes directly toward operating costs at Sacred Heart Academy. In fact, SHAgala is listed in this year's budget for $130,000. Through out its 15-year existence, over $1,453,000 has been generated. The funds raised help keep Catholic education in the Mid-Michigan area affordable. Organizing SHAgala is a huge project, and it takes many volunteers to have a successful event each year. A variety of committees have been formed and we would love to have you join us. On-Line SHAgala Auction Starts January 11th

Bid on Bishop Cistone & other items in the Online Auction!
 
The SHAgala Online Auction allows family, friends, and alumni of SacredHeartAcademy to bid on a wide variety of gift certificates and items.  Our premier item for 2010 is the opportunity to sit at Bishop Cistone’s table at SHAgala!  To view items, click HERE.  The auction will run from January 11-25, 2010.   
 

Scrap/Stamp for SHAgala

Each year a Scrap/Stamp for SHAgala is planned for sometime in November and/or January. Its normaly held in the Parish Hall and begins at 6:00 p.m. Friday night and continues through until midnight on Saturday evening. Food, prizes, and lots of scrapping room are provided. For more information, please contact Carolyn Cardon at 989-772-1239.


We've already started working on SHAgala 2010. Plan to join us on February 13, 2010 for a Fantasy Cruise.

Your support is important to us. Thank you for helping to keep Catholic education alive in the heart of Michigan.
This annual fundraising event involves a dinner, silent/oral auctions, cash drawings as well as dancing and snacks. Dinner tickets must be purchased in advance. Please call the Sacred Heart Administration office at (989)772-1385 if you are interested in purchasing dinner or cash raffle tickets or are interested in helping with SHAgala.
                                            
The SHAgala gift committee has designated November as donation commitment month. If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Michelle Szymczak at (989) 773-4082. Delivery of your item will not be required until January, before the event. All gifts are, of course, tax deductible. All of our donors will be acknowledged in our souvenir program and on our website.
