 
WAYS TO INVEST IN SACRED HEART ACADEMY
There are many ways to invest in SacredHeartAcademy, and two distinct entities to which you can provide gifts to help our students and school.
The Sacred Heart Academy Foundation was established in 1976 to support the school financially. The Foundation makes allocations only to SacredHeartAcademy and has over three million dollars in assets.
The Sacred Heart Academy Business Office can also accept and receipt donations for the school.
Both the Sacred Heart Academy Foundation and the Sacred Heart Business Office can accept all types of donations, including the following choices:
Gifts of Cash
The simplest way to make a contribution is to write a check, use a credit card or donate cash. Your gift can be unrestricted, giving the administration the freedom to apply it where most needed, or you can designate your gift to an area of your own particular interest.
Gifts of Securities
Stocks or other securities can be transferred to Sacred Heart or Sacred Heart Academy Foundation. Arrangements can be made through the Director of Development at Sacred Heart.
Memorial Gifts
You may want to consider a gift to honor a living person or in memory of a deceased loved one. A memorial gift is a very fitting way to express your love by contributing to a cause that benefits so many young people in the community.
Named Scholarships
You may wish to establish a scholarship for students in memory of a loved one or in your family name for students of SacredHeartAcademy.
Endowment Gifts
Your endowed gift helps to secure the future of SacredHeartAcademy. The principal of your gift is never touched. Only the annual interest is used to benefit current students.
Deferred Gift
The traditional planned gift is the bequest. Because a bequest is a gift made through a will or trust, the individual making the gift retains full use of the property during his or her lifetime. SacredHeartAcademy or Sacred Heart Academy Foundation can be a contingent beneficiary of your estate in case your primary beneficiary(s) is deceased at the time of your death.
Gifts of Life Insurance
A way to invest in SacredHeartAcademy with a significant gift at a low cost is through the use of a life insurance policy. By naming SacredHeartAcademy or the Sacred Heart Academy Foundation as the irrevocable owner or beneficiary of the policy, you help the future of students by assuring a gift will become a reality.
